Ms. Doody received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1996, where she double majored in Behavioral Science & Law and Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. She later attended Chicago-Kent College of Law, and received her Juris Doctorate in 2001. Ms. Doody is currently licensed to practice before all Courts in Arizona, and maintains membership in the Maricopa County Bar Association, and is an active member of the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel. She joined the firm in 2007.
Currently, the primary focus of her practice is in construction defect litigation, defending developer, general contractor, and subcontractor entities in complex civil litigation. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced in general insurance defense and professional malpractice litigation. Ms Doody also has experience in other civil litigation areas, including personal injury, property damage, commercial tort and contract claims.
Ms. Doody is an editor of the Construction Law Source, a legal publication that addresses industry developments, legal trends, contracting and collection issues and topics of interest to the construction industry.
