Brad Holm graduated summa cum laude in 1978 from Brigham Young University, where he was selected as the 1977 Harry S. Truman Scholar from Utah and the 1977 Edwin S. Hinckley Scholar. He graduated in the top 10% of his class from Brigham Young University Law School (J.D., cum laude 1981). Mr. Holm distinguished himself in the moot court program and served as a member of the Brigham Young University Law Review. He was a prosecuting attorney in Utah, where he is admitted to practice law before all state and federal courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. He also taught business law at Stevens Henager College. Mr. Holm is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in the State of Arizona, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He formerly served as a judge pro tem for Maricopa County Superior Court and Chandler City Municipal Court.

Mr. Holm concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, with particular emphasis on construction, architect/engineer liability, and environmental matters. He has represented owners, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, sureties, and insurance companies in construction litigation. He has performed legal services related to both public and private construction projects. For example, he drafted the construction contract and general conditions currently in use by a large Arizona municipality, and he has performed the same work for various private owners. He has litigated virtually every kind of public works construction claim and many claims on private projects as well. He has tried bid protest cases on projects ranging in size from a few hundred thousand dollars to over $350 million. He has also litigated all kinds of delay, differing-site-conditions, and extra-work claims. Further, he has mediated and arbitrated a variety of construction claims, and he served as a mediator in several construction disputes. He represented the owner of a major league sports venue in resolving claims arising out of that facility’s construction. He is a member and formerly served on the executive council of the Construction Section of the State Bar of Arizona.
